Does anyone know Ayurveda practitioners?

I'm thinking a good starting point for Ayurveda courses may be--

1. Discover Your Dosha
A fun introduction to Vata, Pitta and Kapha and how they relate to daily life.

2. Ayurveda for Modern Living
Simple routines for food, sleep, movement, self-care and creating more balance.

3. Eat According to Your Constitution
An approachable introduction to Ayurvedic nutrition and eating according to individual needs.

4. The Art of Ayurvedic Self-Care
Daily rituals, seasonal practices, grounding routines and mindful self-care.

5. Ayurveda & Digestion: Understanding Agni
Explore the Ayurvedic concept of digestive fire and its relationship to overall well-being.

Don't doubt yourself when it comes to practicing Reiki

When I started out providing clients my Reiki services, even I had doubts about my ability to help them out.

The more I did it, the more I gained confidence in the work that I do.

Today was another perfect example of the power of Reiki.

I met a woman today during a meeting with our local Chamber of Commerce, and as I was talking with her, we both felt a surge of energy go through us.

She was amazed what was happening to her.

I've experienced this multiple times and I'm still amazed of the things that happen when I'm in the presence of other people.

Keep looking inwards!

Influence...or Control?!

We love feeling influential...but sometimes, we may skip straight to control!

Think about it: you've got uncertainty ahead. You've got things you need to do and other people are responsible for parts of the job in order to get things done. You've got deadlines and expectations and people breathing down your back...so you do the only thing that makes sense, right? Get it under control!

Unfortunately, we've all been there and we know control and influence are wildly different things...influence can be deeply positive and collaborative, whereas control gets a bit forced.

Your subconscious wants to protect you from uncertainty. Homo sapiens sapiens HATES not being able to predict what's ahead! Our pattern recognition is top tier for a great reason. But when uncertainty is on the horizon, our subconscious can overcorrect for it. Instead of allowing for uncertainty, it wants to protect us by helping us narrow our world, dial up our anxiety, and attempt to "focus" on what it can grasp right in front of it.

We know that feels misaligned, and usually results in outcomes we're not actually looking for. Energetically, it's hard to detach from an outcome or manifest well when we are in this subconscious pattern already! Mentally, it can be tough to break the habit because it feels so automatic.

Here's one thing we can do to break the pattern (aside from hypnosis with me, of course!):

- Pause and breathe three deep breaths.
- Take inventory: Is there uncertainty? If so, am I feeling some kind of way about it?

- If there's uncertainty, that means some things ARE certain. What is one of those certain things?

That quick inventory is sometimes the first step in loosening the clutches of anxiety and control before it takes root in your activity.

What other tools have you used to stop control & anxiety from rooting into the soil of your mind and spirit? Drop em in the comments!
